The historic role of the Community Development
Committee has been to review proposed development projects in the neighborhood
and make recommendations to the Community Planning and Economic Development
(CPED) about the disposition of such projects including the use of public
funds. The Committee still carries out this function and generally provides
citizen review of development projects in Seward Neighborhood.
2011 Meetings
All Seward residents interested in development issues are welcome to
attend regular meetings and take part in the committee's ongoing concerns.
Join us at the Community Development Committee Meetings at Matthews
Community Center, 2318 28th Ave. S., the second Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 p.m.
